Amrutham Gamaya 2022
The National Service Scheme Unit of Sanatana Dharma College is also celebrating its glorious 50th anniversary of functioning in the year 2022. It is in this context that the National Service Scheme Unit of Sanatana Dharma College Alappuzha organized a three days State Level Leadership Camp named “AMRUTHAM GAMAYA 2022” for the National Service Scheme Volunteers of the state of Kerala, in connection with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from 1st July 2022 to 3rd July 2022. The camp coincides with the commemoration of our nation’s 75th year of independence and the 75th anniversary of Sanatana Dharma College. The camp provided a grand platform for the holistic development of the student volunteers who participated in the camp. The target group of the camp was the selected 138 National Service Scheme Volunteers representing various NSS cells in Kerala. The major theme of the camp was sustainable development through conserving nature and natural resources and making an eco-friendly approach on various environmental issues that we are currently facing. The camp proclaimed the tag line “Oreyoru Bhoomiykkayi…, Nalloru Naaleykkayi…” The major objectives of the camp were promoting national integrity, devising creative ideas for putting the nation on the path of progress and development in the post-covid scenario, providing leadership training for the NSS volunteers, to motivate activities practicing green protocol etc.
